This Privacy Policy describes how the EastPeak mobile application ("the App", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the application.

The App is designed to provide users with a dashboard for viewing investment-related information and market insights.

Important: The App does not process financial transactions, deposits, or withdrawals. It only displays information related to investments and market data.

2. Information We Collect

We collect limited information necessary to operate the platform.

Account Information

When an account is created, the following information may be stored:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Investor ID or account reference
  • Profile information

This information is used only to identify users within the system and provide access to the App.

Investment Dashboard Data

The application displays investment-related data such as:

  • Total invested amount
  • Current portfolio valuation
  • Returns / ROI
  • Deposit requests
  • Withdrawal requests
  • Portfolio performance data

This data is entered and managed by administrators and displayed to the user for informational purposes only.

Market Data

The App may display financial market information such as:

  • Cryptocurrency prices
  • Stock indices
  • Commodity prices
  • Market news
  • Economic calendar events

This data is retrieved from third-party data providers and is provided for informational purposes only. We do not guarantee its accuracy, availability, or completeness.

Device Information

We may automatically collect limited technical information including:

  • Device type
  • Operating system
  • App version
  • Crash logs or diagnostics

This information is used to improve performance, security, and stability.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Provide access to your investment dashboard
  • Display portfolio performance data
  • Display market insights and financial news
  • Send notifications regarding portfolio updates or administrative actions
  • Improve the functionality, security, and stability of the App

These services may process technical requests necessary to deliver market information within the App. We are not responsible for the accuracy, timeliness, or reliability of external market data.

6. Data Storage and Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including:

  • Authentication controls
  • Access restrictions
  • Encrypted communication where applicable

However, no method of storage or transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. No Financial Transactions

The App does not process financial transactions. Any deposits, withdrawals, or investment actions referenced within the App are administrative records displayed for informational purposes only. The App functions solely as a portfolio viewing dashboard.

8. Data Retention

User information is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the services of the App, maintain account functionality, resolve support issues, or comply with legal, regulatory, or security obligations.

If a user deletes their account or requests deletion of their data, the account data is marked for deletion immediately. Deleted data may be retained for up to 3 days to allow recovery in case of accidental deletion or a change of mind. After this period, the data is permanently deleted from our systems, except where limited retention is required by law or for security and fraud prevention purposes.

9. User Rights

Users may request:

  • Access to their account information
  • Correction of inaccurate information
  • Deletion of their account and personal data
  • Deactivation of their account, subject to administrative requirements where applicable

10. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children or minors.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we may notify users through the App or through other appropriate communication channels. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised Privacy Policy.

13. Data Deletion and Account Removal

Users have the right to request deletion of their account and personal data.

How to request deletion

  • By using the account deletion feature within the App, if available
  • By contacting us at support@theeastpeak.ae
  • By requesting deletion through the platform administrator, where applicable

What happens after deletion

  • Account information such as name, email address, investor ID, and profile data is deleted
  • Associated dashboard and account-linked records are deleted or anonymized where applicable
  • Identifiers linked to the user account are permanently removed after the retention window ends

Deletion timeline

Once a valid deletion request is received, the account is marked for deletion immediately. Data may remain in a recoverable state for up to 3 days. After that, it is permanently deleted and cannot be restored.

Limited exceptions

We may retain limited information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, enforce our rights, prevent fraud, address security incidents, or maintain required business records. Any retained information will only be kept for those purposes.
